It’s almost Christmas and we are so excited to share our Sweet Little Peanut Christmas Party full of fun and inspirational ideas! If you are wanting to put together a fun holiday party for your peanuts or maybe in charge of coming up with a fun kids table at your family holiday party we have tons to talk about! Make sure you read the bottom of this post for our first amazing GIVEAWAY!
We invited the darling Caroline Armelle with the Armelle Blog {full of fun ideas and amazing food} and her two darling little peanuts, Ezra and Norah to our lunch party. Also joining us and capturing the details and excitement was the amazingly talented Jessica Kettle and her cutest peanuts, Max, Lucy and Viv.
The theme of this party was modern reindeer with pops of white and red chevron and different shades of metallics. You can’t get enough sparkle and shimmer when it comes to little peanuts! We enlisted in the help of Ashley Beyer with Tinge Floral to help us with the floral design on the table. She is brilliant and came up with the perfect balance between beautiful and simple for this children’s table. We love how she incorporated mercury glass for the containers and kept the blooms primarily white with some pops of red berries for color.
We thought it would be fun to have place cards for each kid and it was a huge hit! The little peanuts loved being able to find their names and practice spelling them out. These cute place card holders are super easy too! We found the antler deer at Hobby Lobby and spray painted them with gold metallic spray paint and then gold glitter spray paint for extra sparkle. Moms, spray paint will change your life! It’s so simple and fast and can transform anything!
Ashley used smaller reindeer glitter figures and dipped pine cones as additional design details on the table. Both of these decor options are super easy to do yourself and really made the table beautiful and magical!
Jessica came up with the cutest ideas for food for our Christmas lunch party. We did reindeer club sandwiches which are also super easy and yummy! Jessica used two larger circle cookie cutters to cut the bread, lettuce, meat and cheese to create the body of the reindeer. Stripes of arranged bacon was used to create the antlers, a red cherry tomatoes for the nose and raisins for the eyes created the cutest yummy sandwiches that the kids loved!
For dessert we did cupcakes with white frosting, an upside down large strawberry and a ball of frosting on the tip to create a Santa hat that was not only super cute but yummy too! Top it off with a little editable glitter snow and this is a huge hit with the littles!
The placemats were made from kraft paper and were designed with a white ink pen which is super easy and really cute! The placemats also doubled as a Santa wishlist and the kids were able to write down what the wanted for Christmas!
We had so much fun planning our first Christmas Party and we hope it inspires you to design your own kids lunch party!
